About us

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to study kyudo with the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) rules.

We opened our doors in 2016, we all are members of the South Carolina Kyudo Renmei and this group is part of it. Our sensei Mr. Aaron Blackwell 7th Dan Kyoshi and Ms. Reiko Blackwell 5th Dan Renshi, helps our members improving technique and etiquette holding seminars twice or more a year in their beautiful dojo of five shooters.

Though there is no formal instructor or Sensei on site, our members have from shodan (1st rank) to yondan (4th rank). Our dojo is a collective effort.

To clarify and respectfully, we are not affiliated with Heki Ryu Bishu Chikurin-ha school of Kyudo, which there is also a study group located at the Austin Shambhala Center.

We welcome any one interested in study/practice with us the martial art of Kyudo.
